Constitutions in Myanmar

Introduction:

Many countries have governments consisting of three branches - the legislative branch, the executive branch and the judicial branch. Many countries also have constitutions, which govern all other national laws and state how the government should be structured and work. This chapter looks at the three branches of government in Myanmar and how they might affect minority rights. It also looks at how constitutions in Myanmar have affected minority rights.
